Total Automotive gave me a more then fair deal on my VW oil change and tire rotation. I come from working in the automotive aftermarket and used to deal with shops everyday. Most places do not make much money on a simple oil change and rely on “free inspections” to find anything wrong with your vehicle to make good money on parts and repairs. The gentleman that took care of me came back after the test drive and inspection and told me “hey that thing is in great shape, we looked over everything and shook it down, couldn’t find a thing wrong with it.....this is very rare! Total was very honest, respectful and timely with what I came to the shop for! Being newer to the Howell area, they have more then earned my business and I’ll make sure to recommend their services to anybody I know!

This business went above and beyond to make sure that their customer was completely satisfied (me). Boy did they deliver! Went there for some brake work on the back tires, and they did just that...but when I left the shop, my steering wheel shook every time I braked...Thought it was something that they missed, but when they inspected it, they noticed that it was the front brakes causing this...something that they didn't work on. Based on what I paid for and my call, they fixed the front brakes at no charge! Can't say enough about this company working with their customers to make sure that their experience is more than good! Would certainly recommend this company to ANYONE who is looking for automotive work! Great company, great employees, great customer service!

I broke down 40 miles from home in an unfamiliar area. Had to find a repair shop to have my truck towed. While waiting for a tow truck I called Total Automotive, explained my dilemma. The tow truck driver endorsed them which was very reassuring.
